It consists mainly of high-quality Arabica beans (70%), supplemented with selected Robusta beans (30%), which come from plantations in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Robusta gives the blend a stable foam and character, Arabica softness and aroma.

The beans are roasted more intensely in the traditional southern Italian style, which suppresses acidity and brings out chocolate and spicy notes. In the cup, it creates a velvety and balanced crema, a pronounced aroma and a full taste with slightly spicy notes and a rich chocolate aftertaste. Zicaffè Aromatica is intended primarily for preparing espresso in automatic coffee machines and lever machines, at home or in a café. Thanks to the proportion of Robusta, it creates a stable and thick foam. After grinding, it is also suitable for a moka pot or French press. The strong nutty-cocoa base also works well in milk drinks, such as coffee with milk, Caffè Latte or Cappuccino.
